Hal Jordan has already been cast with Kyle Chandler being the man to wear the ring. Now we have our John Stewart cast with the Rebel Ridge star, Aaron Pierre.
As it currently stands, there isn’t a lot more when it comes to the “Lanterns” show but we do know it’ll be an HBO series with 8 episodes rumored.
Chris Mundy, Tom King, and Damon Lindelof will be executive producing and writing the show.
We’re hearing that Hal will be mentoring a young John within the show and it will be a “detective-style series”.

I am still a little devastated The Gifted star Jermaine Rivers didn’t land the role after advocating for it for so long but I will still absolutely take this casting. Either actor is perfect for the role of John Stewart. I’m just glad it’s finally happening after the Green Lantern Corps disaster.
