What I Liked

1. Bix is quite clearly still reeling from the torture that the Empire had put her through in the first season of Andor, even though it’s been nearly two years in this show since then. Seeing her having nightmares and seeing people that are not there is a nice touch to Bix’s story.

2. There is tension between Cassian and Bix while they are hiding in the safehouse, living together,r going from mission to mission. While this might seem lackluster to some, for me, this is important to how we eventually see Cassian in Rogue One with his relationship to Jyn Erso.

3. I do like how we are finally getting to see Mon Motha interact with the senate. I feel like with the wedding going on with her daughter, that too away from the senate, and seeing Mon Mothma do her thing in there.

What I Disliked

I feel like this episode has been a filler episode that lays the groundwork for the 1-year time jump in the series. I hope that after every three episodes, this isn’t how the time jumps will go, and I hope it just dives into the action going forward.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be the return of an iconic character, Saw Gerrera. He’s been such an important and underrated character within the Star Wars universe.

Standout Character

I’m going to give this to Bix. Seeing her still reeling from the Empire’s torture last season, seeing her slowly spiral and begin to use drugs is fantastic.

Verdict

Overall, this episode was boring. The episode did have a decent couple of moments, like the Bix storyline and seeing how she’s slowly losing herself as well as seeing the return of Saw Gerrera. The rest of the episode felt like it dragged and did not keep me entertained.
