What I Liked

1. Cassina, Kleya, and another rebel engage with the ISB soldiers that are coming to arrest them, while we see K-2SO absolutely wreck some soldiers outside. The ISB soldiers use a flashbang on Cassian while K-2SO uses the soldier as a shield against the others. This scene was pretty decent.

2. It’s amazing that while building the rebellion, everyone was working with everyone, trusting one another, and now, when Luthen has sacrificed himself for this and to find out the true plans, the “council” in the rebellion does not believe Cassian about the super weapon. It’s ironic that Bail Organa does not believe Cassian or even Luthen when, in a short few years, his entire planet, along with him, dies at the hands of this weapon.

3. The speech that plays through the episode. It mentions that there are armies and battalions that don’t even realize that they have signed up for the cause of the rebellion. It’s true. There are so many planets within Star Wars that get brought into the war even if they do not want to.

4. We get to see Bix again holding her and Cassian’s son. I like how they have shown this a tiny bit and not made a big deal about it, but just knowing how Cassian was as a skilled flyer, extractor, and undercover agent, it’s hard not to know that it will run in the family.

5. I really like how this final episode was set mere days before Cassian, along with Jyn Erso and K-2SO, would lose his life in the battle of Scarif.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be seeing how everyone has turned out. We have Cassian going off to do the mission in Rogue One, and Kleya in the rebellion. Dedra in prison, Saw Gerrera on Jedha with Director Krennic overseeing the Death Star.

Standout Character

I’ll give this to K-2SO. I would give this to Cassian, but seeing K-2SO absolutely wreck the ISB soldiers was fantastic.

Verdict

Overall, a solid final episode. Set mere days before the events of Rogue One, this episode delivered the early stages of that movie, and it did well to link up with it. The action in this episode was decent, but the overall story was much better.
