Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine Finally Gets A Release Date

After what feels like an eternity, we finally have a locked-in date for the release of Marvel’s Wolverine. The marketing for Wolverine has been… lackluster. We’ve had 1 cinematic and 1 gameplay trailer, which was released four months ago; you can check that out below.

Now, today out of nowhere, Insomniac Games has decided to reveal the release date for the video game, which is September 15, 2026.

Now, this is only a couple of months before the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, so I hope they are not rushing to release this before that game releases, as studios will know that any game released around the release of GTA 6 will be overshadowed.

It’s been a few years since we first got informed of the video game, with only recently receiving a gameplay trailer after years of consistent leaks. Since then, Insomniac Games has decided to be quiet until the summer about the game.

The key features highlighted so far have been the brutal claw-based combat mechanics, a story-focused single-player experience, a mature tone centered on Logan’s identity, and a fresh interpretation of the Marvel character.
