Season 2 Episode 2 – “Economos clashes with his handler. Peacemaker faces consequences in the alternate dimension.”

What I Liked
1. The episode immediately begins with Rick Flag Sr starting his new role within ARGUS as the director. His first act is to read the classified file of his son’s death, Rick Flag Jr, within The Suicide Squad movie, where we saw Peacemaker and Rick Flag Jr get into a fight and Peacemaker killing Rick Flag Jr.
2. Peacemaker is still trying to find a way to clean up the mess of killing the alternate Peacemaker. Peacemaker gets Adrian Chase to come with his saw to get rid of the body. The duo of Peacemaker and Adrian cut up the body to be able to get rid of it.
3. The team that breaks into Peacemaker’s house to see what Peacemaker is hiding stumbles upon Peacemaker’s portal to alternate dimensions before Eagley comes in and takes out the entire squad that is in the house.
4. It seems like every time Peacemaker has an argument or things do not go great with Harcourt, he runs to this alternate universe where everything is great with that version of Harcourt. This is what will lead him into getting into trouble in this alternate universe.
What I Disliked

Favorite Moment
Honestly, my favorite moment would be when we see the group come together and just have fun at a party. It’s like they forgot all their troubles and just lived for that moment.
Standout Character
Honestly, I’m going to give this to Fleury. He came in, cracked jokes in the episode, and was a consistent presence in the episode.
Verdict
Overall, a solid second episode that slowly progressed the story of ARGUS looking into Peacemaker and truly trying to find out what he is doing. I feel that Rick Flag Jr.’s death will be the main focus of why Peacemaker and Rick Flag Sr will have a showdown.
