Rumor has it that She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany is not going to be returning to work for Marvel. The rumor also has it that it’s looking increasingly likely that she will be replaced in either the upcoming Avengers movies or post-Secret Wars.
Back in 2022, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiered on Disney+ to mostly positive reviews; however, there were fans who were not excited for the direction the show went. I was one of them. I tried to enjoy the series, but it was just filled with cringe, and I can not even remember anything from the series other than Daredevil.
There were a number of things wrong with the series. From tackling incel culture, too many fourth wall breaks, and the photorealistic Hulk VFX on a “TV” budget, it just looked out of place in some scenes.
Even with the many issues with the series, many fans loved Tatiana Maslany’s take on the character and even wanted to see her back in action, from rumored appearances in Brave New World and Deadpool & Wolverine.
Despite being featured alongside the Hulk in the leaked concept art for Avengers: Doomsday, Maslany isn’t a part of the movie’s cast. It seems like the actress is at odds with Disney. She encouraged fans to cancel their Disney+ subscriptions and doubled down on some Instagram posts in relation to Disney being “complicit in Israel’s genocide against Palestinians”.
Now multiple scoopers are saying if Disney can not convince her to return, the role will be removed or completely recast.
