Joker was a huge success drawing in $1,078,751,311 at the Box Office according to Box Office Mojo. The second film was announced shortly after and we’ve bits of news pop up here and then.
The latest source of news came when the official poster dropped for the movie;
It was confirmed at the time the trailer would drop on the 9th of April, 2024 so we’ll release the trailer on our site and our social media platforms as soon as it drops.
The movie will take a step away from what we had in the first film and will be a musical. I am a bit skeptical about how this will play out even despite having a musical legend in Lady Gaga portraying Harley Quinn.
I’m only skeptical because of how gritty and dark the first film was, I think being a musical will take a lot of that away. I have an inkling this will all be playing out in his head as expected but we’ll see. I’ll be going into it with an open mind due to how good the first film was so I’m hoping it can live up to the same expectations. I don’t think the film will gain anywhere near the box office takings as the first movie.
