Why Invincible Deserves A Video Game

Over time there are shows and movies that you watch and just think “You know what? This would be really great as a video game.” For me, There are many DC characters, Marvel characters, The Boys, and Invincible.

I’ve done reasons why The Boys deserves a video game, but another one I think deserves a video game and would be insane as a video game is Invincible. This is the type of show that doesn’t hold back on action, is bloody, and having the option to be able to play through it would be intense.

It would leave the option for quick-time events, massive fights that rock the world, and more. I think the cartoon style would suit the video game incredibly well or if they want they could make it semi-realistic like they have done with Omni-Man in Mortal Kombat or Homelander in Mortal Kombat and Call of Duty.

With an Invincible game, you need customization options. Especially for each character, I think Injustice 2 had the customization nailed for each character, it made you want to go through each character and unlock different options for the characters.

You also need a solid story. Mark (Invincible) will be the main story but adding a part of the story or even DLC for Omni-Man would be insane, especially if that story was about him being back on Viltrum in the war.

I think it wouldn’t be Invincible without gory fights. Adding a system like Mortal Kombat in with the fatalities and finishers would be perfect for this, especially against the Viltrumites since they have a unique ability to take damage and not die as seen countless times throughout the show.

Another system they could add would be a system that Dragon Ball Kakarot had where when you would level up a character, enemies in the story and on the open-world map would also be leveled up or slightly more powerful than you. This would allow the player to learn and spend time upgrading the character they are using.

Honestly, with how popular the show is coming, the character of Invincible will only grow in size and more people will read and watch the show, so why not add another mainstream way of connecting with the universe and characters? It’s a golden opportunity that would be insane to pass up.
