Why Jumper Deserved a Sequel!

Many of Hayden Christensen’s films get overlooked which I find so stupid. He gives his all in everything he stars in from Star Wars to American Heist to Jumper.

The jumper was a film that peaked my interest as soon as I watched it. The story was about a kid who could teleport or “jump” to different spots he’s seen, the movie essentially set up him being hunted by a group lead by Samuel L. Jackson.

Hayden Christensen absolutely smashed the role and the movie was enjoyable and even the video game was good which when a movie gets a spin-off video game they tend to be not that great.

The movie had a budget of 85 million dollars and at the box office made just over 225 million dollars which to me is a great return. The movie fully deserved a sequel especially from what I’ve heard happened in the books. It could of lead into a franchise and expanded into spin-off series or movies.

Yes, the movie got a spin-off series in 2018 on YouTube named “Impulse” but the movie was great and fully deserves to have had a sequel or even after 12 years give us a sequel which Hayden Christensen reprises his role, even if it’s just a cameo.

I truly believe the movie was great and people only hated it because they hated hos Hayden Christensen was in Star Wars. The movie is also one of those movies I can watch and never get bored of.

The movie even had a star-studded cast of actors from Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Rooker, Kristen Stewart, Jamie Bell to Diane Lane.
