Why The Obi-Wan Series Needs To Showcase Darth Vader’s Raw Power

We know Hayden Christensen is set to reprise his role as Darth Vader in the upcoming Disney+ exclusive show, Obi-Wan Kenobi. The logo now on Disney+ also shows that the show is “coming soon”.

As of current, we don’t have a release date, trailer, or even any news about the plot for the show except cast details, and that filming has wrapped up now.

With Christensen reprising his role as Vader I am expecting him to be fully involved in the show, not the same way he was in Rogue One despite having one of the best Star Wars scenes of all time in the end.

And this is my point. If people talk about Vader, that Rogue One scene is brought up and the fact it only lasted a minute or so just shows how impacting the scene really was.

In the Original movies, we never see Vader in his prime or actually utilizing his brute strength in any way. In Obi-Wan, we should get to witness this as it’ll be incredibly entertaining.

It would be nice to see Vader hunt down a surviving Jedi in one of the episodes and just see Vader destroy the Jedi. That would be my dream for the show.

Obviously, the show will be predominately about Obi-Wan which it should be, and I am awfully excited to see what Obi-Wan was up to shortly after the events of Episode 3.

I think by showing us this with Vader and pending how Hayden does with the role, it could spawn a show or even a movie for Vader which is the only live-action piece I want before I die. Honestly.

Darth Vader in this time is perhaps the most feared in the galaxy. Even the mention of his name strikes fear into people and this should be explored more.

We know what Vader did during Order 66 which was despicable and cunning but the amount of survivors from the Purge isn’t known. Vader on the other hand is known for hunting them down and ensuring they’re killed swiftly.

The amount of people he killed is probably unknown, including the amount of Jedi he killed. I can only imagine what it would be like to see the first matchup between Vader and Obi-Wan, the aggression, the build, the intensity would be some of the most entertaining TV of all time.

All in all I just really want Hayden to do well purely because of the spin-off possibility. I am super excited for this show and the potential to see Vader in full prime in live-action.
