What I Liked
1. We get to see Maul do some of his training with his lightsaber, and one of the moves he pulls off is very similar to the move that Starkiller is doing on The Force Unleashed logo. This is a very subtle nod to the character.
2. Master Daki and Devon are in Lawson’s place, trying to find a way out of the city, when a lightsaber comes through the door. It’s Marrok; the Jedi engages with Marrok while Lawson and his son escape. Marrok manages to hold off the Jedi, while Daki orders Devon to protect Lawson and his child.
3. I do like how this episode is all about the action compared to the last episode, when it was about the story. This episode has been nothing but the Empire hunting down the Jedi, Lawson, and his son.
4. Marrok is asking Devon where Maul is, and we hear a voice in the background saying, “I am here.” Maul and Devon join forces to duel Marrok, who, surprisingly, holds his own against Devon and Maul, showing that he is actually a good duelist.
What I Disliked
Nothing to report.
Favorite Moment
My favorite moment would be when Marrok tracks down Devon and begins to duel her. She holds her own for a few moments but takes the fight onto the train. Marrok is right on her tail, and the two continue to duel.
Standout Character
Marrok. Marrok was insanely great in this episode. He managed to showcase just how well of a duelist he was, and even showed how great of an Inquisitor he was.
Verdict
Overall, an insane episode for action. This felt like a Star Wars show. It had everything: Jedi being hunted down, it had Jedi vs Sith duels, it had space chases. It was just a decent episode. The story was actually generally good, too.
