What I Liked

Ahsoka visits Sabine’s home in order to investigate what happened. While there, she encounters the droid that had previously attacked Sabine. The droid attempts to sneak attack Ahsoka, but she easily defeats it. It will be interesting to see if Sabine’s pet becomes a popular plush toy in the coming months.

Hera was just ruined by a droid in one sentence. The aftermath was complete silence, which made the comeback even more hilarious.

Huyang displayed a sharp wit in his conversation with Sabine. When Sabine was feeling sorry for herself, Huyang didn’t hesitate to be brutally honest with her. It’s important to note that Sabine is not a Jedi and lacks the Force sensitivity that Ezra possesses. Huyang made it clear that Sabine cannot compare herself to Ezra, who is on a completely different level.

It’s quite astonishing to see people still supporting the Empire, despite the chaos and destruction they have caused everywhere they went, as the crew exclaimed before launching an attack on Ahsoka and Hera. This situation reminds me of the real world. I found it incredibly gratifying to witness Ahsoka and Hera fighting together in harmony; it was a truly beautiful sight.

The battle between Ahsoka and Marrok was impressive. It was satisfying to see the Inquisitors’ double-bladed lightsaber in full action. I’ve missed lightsaber battles in Star Wars, especially as a fan of the Prequels. This was everything I could ask for.

What I Disliked

In this episode, Ahsoka seemed quite uninteresting. This is my only issue. Her usual personality didn’t shine through and it felt dull at times.

Favorite Moment

I’m glad to see Sabine back in her full suit. It’s obvious that there were some issues between her and Ahsoka after the events of Rebels, but I’m happy to see that she will play a significant role in the series going forward. She looked amazing wielding her saber in the last episode, so I’m looking forward to seeing more of her in action.

Standout Character

Personally, I find it odd, but I am particularly fond of Huyang. He has made me laugh on numerous occasions and I appreciate his direct, straightforward, and honest demeanor. I have a soft spot for droids with a touch of sass, which he certainly possesses, just as he did during the Clone Wars.

Verdict

Although shorter than usual, the latest episode was still fantastic. I appreciate how true it stays to the essence of Star Wars, including the use of lightsabers and force powers. As someone who grew up with these elements, I am thrilled to see them return. I am eagerly looking forward to next week’s episode.
