Highlights
1. I did like this opening scene where we see Ultron go into Jocasta’s mind and see her in her domain with her bots. I do like how easily the two play off of each other and how well connected they are. This chemistry between the two is already such a great pairing.
2. Paladin and Vision sit down with each other. Paladin thinks he has the upper hand when he tries to get Vision to go into sleep mode to complete the contact. Edith goes to Paladin’s “guy in the chair” and gets them under control while Paladin continues to ask to call in some drones.
3. Raza from Iron Man 1 returns to the MCU when he and his men begin to attack Vision and Paladin. Raza wants Paladin’s contract. Tommy and Lisa realize that Tommy does not have a bomb in his arm, but it’s just a toy. Paladin has rigged his van, and Tommy and Lisa have to escape.
04. Was that… The Watcher?
5. The action scene between Vision and Paladin and Raza and his men was actually fairly decent. I liked the pace of the action; it had some decent moments. I think Vision and Paladin is going to be an interesting partnership.
What Didn’t Work
Nothing to report.
Standout Character
I’m going to give this to Vision this week. The little mind games he played with Paladin, which in turn caused Paladin to open up to Vision, were fantastic.
Favourite Moment
Honestly, my favorite moment would be when Paladin believes he has the upper hand on Vision when he starts to reveal things about WandaVision, until a certain moment when Vision reveals his mind game when he starts to reveal information about Paladin’s daughter and him, such things like him being snapped by Thanos and not revealing his was back.
