Highlights

1. Vision and the rest of the AIs use the televisions within Ultron’s room to see Ultron’s short-term memory of where he went with Tommy. It was revealed that they went to a pub and spent time together; Tommy speaks to Ultron about killing people in Sokovia. Ultron speaks about Vision and Wanda’s lying to Tommy.

2. This whole pub scene was really well done. The way Vision looks into this memory, where we see Tommy and Ultron talking within the pub in black and white while we see the rest of the AIs in colour watching the conversation between the two. It was really well done and a really great scene, which was shot beautifully.

3. I really loved how Vision and the rest of the AIs worked out what Ultron was really like. His hidden messages within video tapes in his room, the CCTV camera in the pub where it shows both Ultron and Jocasta together. This show continues to be great.

What Didn’t Work

The episode focused on the mental side of things: the investigation, the mind games, just all about the mind. The lack of action hurt this episode badly.

Standout Character

Ultron takes this. He truly is a master of planning, deception, and hidden plans. This is only made better by the performance of James Spader.

Favourite Moment

My favorite moment would be when Vision pulls the trigger on releasing the firewalls. Ultron then dives into the digital world while Vision gives him a stern warning that whatever Ultron chooses, Vision will be coming for both him and Jocasta.
