Please note, our reviews are based on likes and dislikes. These contain significant spoilers. If you haven’t already watched the episode, we recommend that you click off the article and come back once you have watched the episode. Enjoy!

What I Liked

1. The Imperial army is now taking up the square on Ghorman. The Ghorman’s are walking into a trap while Cassian’s plans are seemingly going sideways as he’s now having to disarm his weapon that he had because of the presence of the Imperials.

2. The riot on Ghorman truly showcases how quickly the Imperial army scrambles to get any uprising under control and stop it. The Imperials bring in everything from Stormtroopers to droids. Andor does a great job of showcasing this.

3. Honestly, this switch-up with Syril is something I did not expect. He finally stands up to Dedra and gets answers. She admits this was the Emperor’s plan all along. He wants the stone that is in the ground. Ghorman was always on the radar.

4. We get to see all out action with the rebels on Ghorman and the Imperial army. Both sides are taking massive casualties in this gunfight. Cassian is so close to being able to take the shot on Dedra but his chances are slim until the Imperials release the droids.

5. In the midst of chaos, Syril manages to lock onto Cassian. When Cassian has the perfect shot on Dedra, Syril tackles him and begins to beat him until Cassian manages to get away. The two continue to fight until an explosion stops the fight.

6. Cassian was just about to be shot by Syril when he asked him, “Who are you?” Syril stops for a split second, which causes a riot leader on Ghorman to hit Syril with a headshot from behind, killing him.

What I Disliked

Surprisingly, nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be when the Imperials get the order to “fire at will”. They shoot their own men on the ground, that’s within the riot, and this causes the Imperials on the ground to open fire on the innocent citizens.

Standout Character

I’m actually going to give this to Syril. This episode was a huge turning point for him as a character, but it ultimately came too late.

Verdict

The best episode of this entire season so far. Honestly, the story in this episode was fantastic. Seeing the Imperial army decimate the Ghorman people was fantastic and just a hint of what has gone on in the galaxy, some huge character development, and it was an action-heavy episode.
