Jared Leto Reprising Role as Joker for Zack Snyder’s Justice League

Zack Snyder’s Snyder Cut is busy shooting extra scenes for the cut, with many actors returning and some new ones also coming with them. Justice League is currently shooting scenes and is being overseen by HBO Max who is financing the shooting of the new scenes as well as unfinished scenes.

The Snyder Cut is scheduled to release next year and will consist of four episodes. Interesting way to release but either way I’m excited, I just hope we get a full version of it.

Shooting is currently underway and some big names are returning, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard. As well with these names is a name we didn’t think would be in it. Jared Leto is currently with the actors shooting some scenes as Joker who Leto starred as in the Suicide Squad movie. While we don’t know which other actors are involved, these names alone are huge… especially Leto and Affleck.

Two producers who were involved with the theatrical version of the movie are quietly moving to the side. Jon Berg and Geoff Johns who were both studio executives and oversaw the reshoots and changes made by Joss Whedon will not be receiving any producer credits on the Snyder Cut.

Sources say this was planned months ago and is not connected to the comments made by Fisher who stars as Cyborg who has been accusing the two of enabling abuse and misconduct by Whedon on the reshoot sets.

However, Jared Leto returning is huge, not just for the potential expanded backstory with Affleck’s Batman but we might also see a flashback of Batman and Joker around the time of the death of whichever Robin was killed.

This also gives me hope for a potential announcement in the future for an “Ayer Cut” of the Suicide Squad because the director, David Ayer has stated that the studio changed his movie and he’s seen the actual cut, and is so much better than what the public received.
