What I Liked

1. Dryden Vos contacts Maul regarding a deal. Dryden Vos gets Maul and his men out of the city and out of the way of the Empire, in return for Maul killing someone and making Dryden Vos the leader of Crimson Dawn.

2. I do like how Maul is using Lawson as his escape plan. Seeing the two groups come together as they have a common enemy, the Empire. Maul and the two Jedi are actually working together. Which is a unique dynamic.

3. I love that the Eleventh Brother and Marrok are hot on the heels of Maul, Devon, and the others. Daki realizes that this is as close as they are, as the two Inquisitors are here, so Maul and Daki team up to fight the Inquisitors.

4. The two Inquisitors come out swinging against the trio. Marrok really wants to take Maul down, and he takes Maul on alone while the Eleventh Brother handles both Jedi. The fight is brutal and fast-paced. The duo of Daki and Maul is able to handle themselves against the Inquisitors.

5. One of Maul’s men is able to take multiple shots from the stormtroopers, even going as far as to sacrifice himself into the toxic waste by spearing 3 stormtroopers into it. He did this out of loyalty to Maul and because he lost his brother in a previous episode.

What I Disliked

Nothing to dislike.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be when the group manages to escape the Inquisitors and heads into a jungle, Rook tries to return to Maul but gets dragged into the jungle, and all you hear is the breathing… then out walks Vader. OMG WE ARE GETTING MAUL VS VADER.

Standout Character

Maul is taking this. Maul was excellent in this episode. The fact that he was willing to work with the Jedi, the fact that he took on the Inquisitors alone, and he even ended up doing Starkiller’s signature pose.

Verdict

Overall, a fantastic episode. The story was really good, it had moments of uniqueness where the story actually provided a look at a Sith and two Jedi working together, a former Lawman working with outlaws. The action is what made this episode peak. Incredible action.
