What I Liked

1. I absolutely love Morgan Edge and I’m so glad to see him back again. He’s in the same prison cell as Kal-El due to Kal not giving up the location to Bizarro. It already started in such a perfect way with Edge’s sarcastic attitude to the entire situation.

2. After Jon is caught with the inhalers, he returns to home to find Lois there full of rage. This entire scene was so intense, honestly down to how angry Lois can get when she becomes emotional. You can even see the fear on Jon’s face during the entire scene.

3. Morgan and Superman clash inside the cell due to Morgan threatening Superman that he will unveil his secrets to secure his release. This results in quite the fight scene between the powerless pair. Morgan wins this round and absolutely batters Superman. This was brilliant.

4. Due to the fight, a squadron of soldiers rush I got he fell to break it up. Now the door is wide open, a slight hint of powers allows both Morgan and Kal to get the upper hand. Morgan shoots one of the guns against the power supply seemingly powering a portable red sun. Genius play again from Edge that is just so damn unpredictable.

5. Jon deserves some props. After hiding the drugs for Candice and getting caught, he refuses to snitch on her. I’m not a fan of Candice’s character but in situations like this, it’s often predictable that they’ll tell anyway because they can write in with no consequences. I enjoyed the direction of this story, especially Lois taking Lana’s advice on listening and staying calm.

6. After everything goes to shit, Lara releases Bizarro and tells him to help her sons. Oh boy, he does. He just spears Anderson, taking him outside and beats the holy daylights out of him until Anderson gets the upper hand by hitting him with the inhalers resulting in the death of Bizarro it seems.

7. It was nice to see after Superman took Edge back to the cell that they did connect. I wouldn’t honestly mind Edge being involved again in a big way as an anti-hero/good guy for a while. I love the chemistry between the two brothers, it’s so entertaining.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report this week.

Favourite Moment

Anderson storms Edge’s Fortress where they both are with Bizarro. He fires a Kryptonite missile to render them weak, then storms in taking an inhaler on his way in. Unfortunately for Edge and Superman, they’re no match for him. Anderson repeatably tries to get to Bizarro but can’t get through the shield. As Superman is lying on the floor, Anderson gears up to shoot him but Morgan literally dives in front of him and takes the shots. What a moment!!

Standout Character

It has to be Morgan Edge. He was incredible yet again. It’s no surprise the writers still want to use Edge because of how good he is as a character. In this episode, it’s obvious the Anti-Hero title was named for Morgan and the title fit very damn well for him. I hope this isn’t the last we see of him.
