What I Liked

1. Honestly, my heart broke a bit for Lana when Kyle told her the news about Chrissy being pregnant. You could tell the news did hurt her but she handled it so well and was brilliant to Kyle as she gave him her full support.

2. Lex’s antics don’t take long to begin as he sends a message to Lois by killing Judge Regan. The story of Lex is one that’s been told many times throughout many different series but I am looking forward to seeing this new actor cause chaos as Lex as he really does suit the role.

3. The scenes between Lex and Bizarro were brutal and completely sadistic. Lex quickly figures out that if Bizarro is killed he comes back stronger than he was before. This creates a plan to work with Bizarro to make him the strongest creature on Earth. Lex brutally kills him, multiple times bringing back a stronger version each time. By the end of this, we see Bizarro like we’ve never seen him before, a complete monster is the best way I can describe it. Bigger than the version in the comics. Absolutely incredible.

4. Lex really is pulling out all the stops to ensure Lois is completely isolated. With the judge killed, Sam kidnapped and Clark fighting Bizarro I have a feeling now will be the time that Lex makes his move on Lois, but of course, Lex doesn’t know about Jordan, so I hope that is where this story is heading.

What I Disliked

Again with the Jordan and Sarah drama. Clark said it himself, it’s been months, and even as a viewer, it does feel that way. It’s been completely dragged out unnecessarily.

Favorite Moment

Holy shiiiit, Superman vs Bizarro, I don’t even know where to begin. This fight scene was so fantastic to watch, I wasn’t even sure if Superman stood a chance at first but initially, he did actually hold his own and successfully killed Bizarro, but of course, this in turn brought him back yet again stronger than her was before. A brief moment of fear crossed over Clark’s family as Jordan could no longer hear him breathing. Thankfully Clark wakes up and smashes Bizarro into the moon. Absolutely incredible way to end the season, even if we do have to wait a little while before we see how this fight ends.

Standout Character

A slightly unorthodox way of doing the standout character however I’m gonna give it to the actor rather than the character. This week is fully deserved by Tyler Hoechlin for both his role as Clark and Bizarro. To play them both, two completely opposite characters and do them both so perfectly is extremely impressive.

Verdict

An absolutely outstanding episode this week, the perfect way to end the Season. I loved that Bizarro has been teased to return for a little while but when he did return it was nothing I could’ve ever expected. They’ve set up the next season perfectly. Well played.
