What I Liked

1. Cable brings the body of Apocalypse to the X-Men; the X-Factor team thinks that whatever has come back is not truly Gambit. Rogue has a nightmare about Gambit, but wasn’t sure until Jubilee gave her a playing card.

2. Professor X uses Cerebro to find Gambit; he finds him in New Orleans. While Professor X was searching for him, Gambit grabs him and uses his newfound powers to get Professor X out of his head. Seeing this brand new Gambit is so great; his design and his powers are just simply amazing.

3. Gambit and Rogue are doing a ceremony to make them be together forever, but the X-Men arrive and stop it before it can happen. The X-Men and Gambit’s men all engage in a battle; Nightcrawler absolutely ruins all the X-Men while Gambit forces Rogue to be his wife.

4. We get a battle between Xavier and Gambit inside of Gambit’s mind. Even within this terrain, Professor X is struggling against Remy and his new abilities. His will is far too, Professor X gets Remy where he wants to, and the real Remy reaches out to Professor X.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Standout Character

The standout for me this week was Gambit. Seeing him as a horseman was insane to watch. Seeing his power limits being higher than what they normally are and how this is just a tease of what he truly could be normally.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be when Gambit and his men attack the X-Factor plane, and Rogue speaks to Gambit and tries to use her powers on Gambit, but they no longer work. Gambit makes Rogue sleep while he kidnaps her. Nightcrawler also tries to stop Gambit, but he also gets captured by him.

Amazing

Overall, a great episode centred around the resurrection of Gambit, Rogues romance with him, and just how much Gambit means to the X-Men. Overall this episode had decent action and a solid story.
